Anne Pe is a singer-songwriter from the Black Forest region, Germany.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guided by her intuitive compass, she moves with an elfin lightness through the landscapes of folk, indie, world and lyrical pop.
The magazine AKUSTIK Gitarre described her music as
\u201cfull of great calm and inner strength,\u201d<\/strong> while SCHALL music magazine called it \u201ca homage to love and freedom,\u201d and the German radio station SWR3 nominated her debut Glowing Seas as \u201cFavorite Album of the Year\u201d at the German Pop Culture Awards in 2017.
Her first gig she played in Sydney.<\/strong>
After almost a year in Australia, she found a new musical home in late-90s Berlin, where she stayed for seven years. Eventually, the pull of forests and mountains led her back to the green hills of Southwest Germany, where she now lives and weaves her delicate, poetic song ideas.<\/p>\n

\u2018Outstanding world music from the Black Forest\u2019
\n<\/strong>is how the renowned music magazine<\/strong> Folker <\/strong>described Anne Pes’ second studio album Songs and Lines<\/em><\/a><\/strong>, which was released in October 2025 <\/strong>\u2013
an album about inner and outer lines, about traces that run through bodies, cities, times and memories.
Creatively<\/strong>, she co-produced and arranged this album, created an art book<\/a> with her own artwork for each song, played many of the instruments herself and recorded what she personally considers the most important track on the album:
On a trip to West Africa<\/strong>, world-renowned djembe master Famoudou Konat\u00e9 played the djembe for her song Brothers and Swans <\/em><\/a>in Guinea.
In Senegal, she visited another famous family of musicians:
With her new musical colleague, singer and kora player Moussa Cissokho (Senegal\/Austria), she is recording and shooting a video for their joint song Island.<\/em><\/a>
The album’s opener,

Singer and multi-instrumentalist Anne Pe has released an unconventional, enchanting workbook with several musicians and producer Julius M\u00fcnnig. There is something unusual about this album. Her debut album Glowing Seas<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>
received strong support from press and radio.
Her music was featured by big radio stations like SWR1, SWR3, SWR4, NDR<\/strong>, and numerous online and local stations.<\/p>\n

SWR1<\/strong> invited her for an interview and an unplugged session; AKUSTIK Gitarre<\/strong> published a full artist portrait and included the title track on the magazine\u2019s CD. The German edition of ELLE<\/strong> recommended her song Seagull<\/em> as a \u201cdream song,\u201d and the respected music magazine SCHALL<\/strong> described her sound as \u201ca fine blend of Anna R. and Taylor Swift, yet far more grounded than chart pop.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the UK Songwriting Contest 2016<\/strong>, her song Seal Woman<\/em><\/strong> reached the finals, with five additional songs making it to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n
